About Us

Victory Fellowship Church of Council Bluffs, Iowa has both a local and global focus.  Lonnie Parton has pastored Victory Fellowship since 1985.

In 2004, God moved on the leadership of the church to make a radical change from being a "program" driven church to a "presence" based church. To read more about this process, Lonnie has authored the book, Desperate People in Desperate Times, describing how this dramatic change transpired and what it has meant for us.  Since that time, we have become a people who are desperately seeking the manifest presence of Jesus to transform personal lives, homes, cities and nations for His glory and for the good purposes of which He intended.  We are committed to making 2 Chronicles 7:14 a lifestyle, "If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land."

We invite you to join with us in our worship services. Each service is intentionally designed with a focus on Jesus in worship, prayer, the ministry of the Word and encounter with Him!
