Community Outreach
Victory Fellowship believes that Jesus desires to transform God's people and our region. While we have a global focus, we also love to minister to our own community because God loves the people of Council Bluffs and surrounding areas! By feeding the hungry and clothing the poor, the Lord tells us that we also do those things as unto Him (Matthew 25:37-40). Victory Fellowship has several ways that we extend the love of the Lord to others around us.
MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP DINNERS
One Sunday each month, our hospitality ministry prepares a feast for everyone to stay following the morning worship service to eat and to fellowship with one another. The hospitality ministry is a group of loving people who want to serve others with their culinary gift. This is a great time for people to get to know one another and to build relationships while enjoying a tasty meal!
FOOD PANTRY
We have a food pantry that is available to anyone in need. It is open during business hours and an appointment is required by calling the church office and scheduling a pick-up. Proof of identity and residency is required. If you need food, please give us a call.
CLOTHES PANTRY
Liane's Closet has clothes that are in good condition in all sizes for anyone in need. Liane's Closet has regular clothes giveaways where anyone can come and get free clothes. If you need clothes, please call the church office during normal business hours or look for announcements of upcoming giveaways. Feel free to spread the word to those you know who may need clothes as well!
DESTINY CENTER
The Destiny Center is located in Bluffs Acres and provides discipleship of young believers in this community. There is also tutoring available to grade-school children during the school year. Victory has regular outreaches in this community including an annual easter egg hunt, back-to-school events, prayer fairs, Bible studies, and counseling in order to bless the people of Bluffs Acres and to share the love of Jesus.
