Day 5 Accountability

Break up the Ground
The pattern of the early church was to share. The sharing was not only things, but also struggles and weaknesses (Acts 2:44). Vulnerability and transparency make some people very nervous. But it is actually the path to success (Ecc. 4:9-10; Gal. 6:1; James 5:16, Rom. 12:1-10).

Today began to ask the Lord to reveal those in the Body of Christ with whom you may become accountable to. If this thought frightens you, this thought should reveal to you a stronghold in your heart. Ask the Lord why you may be resistant to such an idea. Write down the insights the Lord give you and began to pray through them.

Seek the Lord
Better is a temporary embarrassment before man, than to have God reveal the secrets of the secret place (1 Cor. 4:5; 2 Cor. 4:2). As you seek the Lord today, ask for a strong spirit to follow through on your commitment to become transparent before a faithful friend (Prov. 27:6)

Rains
The refreshing of a clean and open heart is like a soaking rain. Stay in the presence of Jesus for as long as you can today. Wait and meditate on Him. He loves your openness and honesty.
