CB Prayer Service Wednesday June 8 at 7 pm

Considering the the growing threat of devastating, area-wide floods, a coalition of Council Bluffs churches/ministries are inviting the people of Council Bluffs and Omaha and surrounding communities to a Night of Prayer and Worship before the Lord.

As in the days of Jehosaphat (II Chronicles 20:21 ) we desire to set our hearts before the Lord in worship that He would be our "present help in time of need" (Psalm 46:1)

The prayer focus for the night will be to petition the Lord for:

- Minimal flood impact
- Wisdom and unity within churches and among city leaders to meet the needs of our communities at this critical time
- The passage of proposed Fetal-Pain Bill HF 657 to prohibit late-term abortion in Iowa

"Our Father in heaven . . . . Deliver us from evil" (Matthew 6:9 & 13)
